Running Vista on HP laptop.Cannot get a wireless connection ,comes up as connected,limited access or local only. Other laptops in the house are working fine. Works ok on ethernet cable. Any ideas ? ( please allow for me being a techno novice ! )

You haven't switched off the wireless connection on your laptop. Quite easy to do accidentally.

Thanks for help. Seems to have corrected itself by having the ethernet connection used .Is now working fine on wireless
