Nexus Playbook Will Not Connect To Tv???????

Have got a Google chromecast but still cannot get it to work?

Let us have some more information please:

What is the device that you're trying to connect? There's no such thing as a 'Nexus Playbook'. There's a Nexus 7 and there's a BlackBerry Playbook. Which is it? (I'm hoping that it's a Nexus 7 because you'll then have an operating system that's compatible with your Chromecast. The Blackberry Playbook uses a different, non-compatible, OS).

Are you sure that your Chromecast is connected to your home wi-fi?

Hi yes sorry I did mean Nexus 7... yes it is on wi fi.

Ok the google chrome cast is in the tv and connected to electric supply The screen came up on the TV but just pictures and it said Living room. which my husband put it on the nexus.

Buenchico, I am so sorry I am feeling very confused myself. lol It is my husband trying to do this so I do not really know what I am talking about because it is coming from him.!! Anyway thankyou for the site. When hubby comes home I will show him.
It could be Nexus 7 isnt available yet to go on chromecast. as he had a message saying something similar to that.
