I have a couple of years old Sony minidisc. How can I record MP3 files from my pc onto MD's. I have tried through the audio output from the pc and the quality was dreadful. Is there some kind of connector USB to microphone input on the MD recorder?

There was a product that did this. I'm sorry I can't be more specific but I seem to recall it was about a year ago that I saw the thing. It went from a USB socket to an optical output for a minidisc recorder.
I don't know if this will help, but, Sony have just released a minidisc player will a module which you can connect to your pc. The whole thing I think is about 250. But,a) I'd be very suspicious(??) as to what you can download on it. Sony are sods for not letting download mp3 or even cd's that you have loaded onto your pc. And b) I don't think they sell the module on it's own. So other than that you might have to shell out. Hope this is of help.
