getting programmes to run

once you have downloaded a programme how do you get it to run along side the programme you want?

How thats what i need help with, how do you run the programe, with the programe you downloaded it for???????

If you've downloaded a program, then you'll normally find a file with the suffix ".exe"
This tends to be the one that installs the program.

You're not really being clear enough about what exactly your problem is. What's the program you've downloaded, where from, what file(s) do you currently have and why would you need a different program to run this one (for)?

The more specific you are, the better answer you'll get.
