No Images Appearing On Emails.

I'm using Internet explorer 6 and suddenly I get no images on emails from companies, just squares with a little red cross in the corner. For instance on sites like the M&S website or Next. Can anyone explain if I have accidentally unticked a box or done anything please?

IE 6 ??
I'm no expert, but there are def more up to date versions of IE available, depending on what versions of Windows you're using ..... so my first port of call would be to update IE and see if that helps :)

Do you mean e-mails? When I get this (at work where there is tighter securuity software) there is usually a strip above the e-mail with a message about right click here to download content/pictures.

Just checked, get it at home too. Above the from:line is a message which says:

Click here to download pictures. To help protect your privacy Outlook prevented automatic download of some pictures in this message.

You just click to get the boxes change to pictures.

I have a similar problem Ann I get small square with a coloured picture in it sometimes it works other times it doesn't. I have IE8 but it doesn't get better. Such a nuisance I'll keep checking to see if anyone can help you.

Ann, to add to the existing responses, the Marks and Spencer website is not an email. Can you please clarify what you mean?

Also, IE6 is hugely out of date now, and one of the worst versions of the worst web browsers ever created. You may find that switching to something decent like FireFox or Google Chrome fixes this, and hundreds of other, problems
