my video player remote!

is playing havock with my tv! it changes the channel, puts on teletext and even goes to factory setting menu, which i was told by the bloke who came to fix it, i was not supposed to be able to gain access to!

it is driving us round the twist! anyone know how i can resolve this?

one solution if it is the remote itself would be to buy a new remote i guess, one compatible with your player and/or tv?? hope this helps
