its the after sales care and technical support.
if you know your stuff buy a dell or ibm... they are fairly robust..or even an HP, although with any of them you really need to know how to "communicate" with their staff for them to treat you properly.
although I still wouldn't buy a pc-world or dixons home brand (advent or patriot)
