cd prob - in detail (!)

HI there. I recently cleaned my cd writer lens using a cd cleaner (which is also used for CD roms as it says on the CD sleeve), but ever since i have used it, music and mp3's fail to burn on blank cd's. The cd burner sofware indicates music is burned on the cd but when i take it out of the cd writer to play on the hi-fi - it turns out to be a blank unused cd - nothing being burnt. All this started problem started ever since I cleaned my cd writer lens with the cd cleaner.Any help ? thank you

does the cd cleaner say it is compatible with writers, i know that cd-roms and writers have different lenses so it's possible it may cause a problem, is the cd-rom or cleaner under warranty, if so i would speak to the manufacturers personally, hope this helps
