What is the next step, if you sell something worth at least 100 on Ebay, they pay, you post it Special Delivery (needs a signature), it says it has been delivered (so signed for), but the buyer says they havn't received the item?

Thanks

Tell the buyer to check with his neighbours. Then take it up with the post office.

Ok, thanks OBonio...

Eh deesel...?!

I had a similar problem like this a while back.I sold something on ebay to someone a while back by next day special delivery.According to the ref number i had the item had been delivered.I got an email from the person saying that the item hadn't turned up.It turned out the girl shared a flat with 2 other people,1 of the flatmates signed for the item but forgot to tell her that something had arrived for her.

It could be possible that something like this has happened or maybe the buyer is abit of a chancer.

I wouldn't have thought that a neighbour would have been allowed to sign for something if it wasn't addressed to them.Usually if i'm out at the time & it is something that has to be signed for, the postman will leave a card telling me they tried to deliver something & i can collect it from their sorting office or arrange for the item to be sent to me again.
The neibour is allowed and they leave a letter normally saying where it has left at, tell her/him to try the local post office and if possible find who signed for it using the receipt you got when sending it
