How to clear recently viewed documents
5 Answers
How do you clear these, (Where its stores it when you click the start menu and then scroll up to recently viewed documents). I thought you just right click the bottom of the screen and then go to properties but on my new computer it doesn't have that. Any ideas?

You can just delete the my recent documents file as it will be automatically created again only blank
also it is a hidden file so you need to use the tools : folder options : veiw : show all hidden files and folders option if you dont see the my recent documents area
This way the mrs/ mother/ anyone else wont see those naughty jpeg images you have been veiwing!
If you are running Win2000 or XP do this.
Right click the toolbar (blue line at the bottom of the screen). Left click properties in the pop up box. Left click start menu tab. Left click customize button. Left click advanced tab. Left click clear list button (may be a slight pause here). Left click OK and then left click the next OK. Sounds like a lot but it takes about 10 seconds and no typing.
