Emoticons On Phone

I have a samsung galaxy S3mini and I would like some smileys etc to include in text messages. How do I download them on to my phone ? cannot find an app.

You can write them yourself using :-) etc and they appear as little smiley characters when you send a text (give it a try, send one to yourself). I've got that phone.

Go to the Play Store and search for the Emoji app

You should already have a set of smileys in your phone. With the cursor in the message text box, tap the left corner of the phone to reveal a set of options, one of which will be "Insert smiley".....

i've got the S3 non-mini and Sputnik's suggestion works but while texting select the 123 Sym button to get numbers etc - I have 3 pages of options of which 2 and 3 have loads of smileys, hearts and symbols.
They don't always appear on the recipient's phone in the right format though,depends on their phone.
