Problems With Epson Xp-405
1 Answers
Just recently, when I print anything - whether it's a photocopy on plain A4 or a photograph on Photographic paper - the print has thin vertical lines about 7mm apart appearing all over it. I've cleaned the heads and replaced cartridges but they are still appearing. The printer is about 20 months old. Does anyone have any ideas as to how I can stop this happening (apart from junking the printer)?

How many times? I've often found that the procedure needs to be repeated at least 5 or 6 times to do the job. (Does your printer have a 'deep clean' utility, as some do? If so, running that several times might do the trick).
It might also be worth running the print head alignment utility, to check that the head hasn't become mis-aligned.
