Morning all Nice day ,bright and sunny earlier but turned a bit hazy now. It's not exactly heatwave temps either as they say in the papers. That Billy Connolly prog is very good.I enjoyed that. I hope it'll get better at some stage Neti.I'm a bit cheesed off it with all to be honest.

I've had enough of knitting .I'm bored witless and it hasn't stopped raining.
Neti ,I had cellulitus in that leg a few years ago caused by a mossie bite .If you remember it all swelled up and the skin split open and it took ages to clear up.
It left a lot of dead tissue under the skin and it's opened up again somehow and ulcerated.I can't understand it because it's not bad circulation as my blood was whooshing through on the Doppler scan.Whatever it is ,it's venous as I have a lot of thread veins. My legs are like ordnance survey maps:)

Oh yes I remember it now, damn mossies. I use a plug in every night as have had too many years of being bitten and sweating, luckily no ulcers . Is it eating away at your leg? I think you should come to Villa Neti and relax, it's ok to be bored here laying in the sun or shade and doing absolutley nothing!!
No it's not eating in.The nurse says it's a surface ulcer which are far more painful apparently. I'd love to come to Villa Neti especially in view of the lousy weather here.Couple of weeks in the sun would do me the world of good .
We were watching Escape to the Country earlier .It's in Norfolk today.I was shouting at the screen ..."don't bother,it's crip"..lol.

she’s right Shaney, the skin and the area immediately underneath has got more pain sensors than muscle and so on further down :( The good news is that the surface ones heal better (not necessarily faster) than ones where poor circulation is an issue. I’d love to move to Norfolk....can’t see it happening though :(
Welcome home Jno...what did you bring us?
Where’s Robi? has her head dropped off?
Glad Mr N is better Neti, how are you and Hija?
I have had stupid day after an early start, I have set up another web cam so I can keep an eye on the torts and set up an outdoor cam that will video what goes on in the garden at night, and also monitor the torts when they are outside assuming we ever get a summer. All the cloth for the settee covers was delivered so that’s nine boil washes to do. The weather keeps coming over very threatening here so the dogs keep being worried which means I keep having to stop what I am doing. They have just decided to go to sleep so maybe I will finally get a shower and then the tort needs seeing too....honestly kids would be less trouble.
I guess Jude is out yelling herself hoarse?

Evening all. The girls lost 3-2 but really tried hard to win as they were 2-0 down at one point. Yes Woofy I did yell a bit as The Rams scored 4 again and gave Bolton a penalty but we won and they played really well so I'm happy.
I was so chuffed that when I got home I defrosted my freezer. Just sat down at 9 o'clock.
Welcome home Jno. You had a good holiday then by the sounds of it. I bet you're pleased to be back in this lovely weather. Mind you it was nice when I went to the match but pouring down all the way home.
Goodnight all now. See you tomorrow.

Morning all, here I is. Oooh, it's cold, it was foggy first thing.
Welcome home jno.
I was busy shopping with my sis yesterday, feel like I've been beaten up this morning. The new serious dark blonde hair-do seems to be working, I pulled not one but two men. Ok, it was only in Sainsburys car park but it's a start. They could have at least had a duel or something, tut... maybe they didn't notice each other. I'll try somewhere more up (super)market next time :)
Lol woofy, robins all seem to be characters. I had a pair I called Little and Large, one was short and stout and the other tall and thin. They looked like a child's drawing standing next to each other. Another one, on nice days, (remember those?) used to sit in the spanish broom and scowl at me until I shared my butties with him. When it flowered he stood out like a sore thumb.
So sorry you're miserable shaney, chin up, hopefully you'll be better by the time the weather finally warms and dries up. I've got spider veins round my ankles, I hate them. I try to keep my feet and lower legs really well moisturised to keep the skin strong. (Lee Ingleby's on Sunday Brunch now, channel 4).

Having a good start to the day here. Computer is all fixed and rejuvenated and tort is definitely better today. I have been having to hand feed her, have her on my lap, open her mouth and poke the food in. Today as I walking into the room she stretched her neck up as high as she could and opened her mouth wide which is her normal “give food” behaviour. When I put the food down, she tried to feed herself, all I had to do was keep food in front of her and she had a good feed. Still not sure about her sight but she is stomping around upstairs.
