Hi
I have an old Sony stereo (6 years old) but it doesn't have bluetooth or wireless so is it possible to send the music from my mac (Bluetooth and airplay) to something ,with a 3.5 jack output to connect to the stereo

Thanks again Fender as it got me on the right lines and I have found one ;-)
i dont really understand what you mean
you want to play your music from your comp through the sony stereo? well you should have a headphone output on your mac comp just plug a 3.5mm jack into it and with phono plugs on the other end of the cable plug those into you sony input sockets
cant see it working otherwise if you sony has no bluetooth wireless capability

hi ivor 4781
Well I forgot to say that the two machines were in different rooms
Thanks
but your sony machine has no wireless or blue tooth receiver you just cant plug a dongle in to that, the product that fender has shown you is a "transmitter "it cant transmit to you sony machine as you state its just a stereo player
ivor4781 is being very realistic and helpful about matters. I think more info is required about the 'Old Stereo' which you have. As a starter, you have indicated the make, but what model is it and what is the total extent of the equipment?

Hans.
