Chrome Problem On Nexus 7

The Chrome screen will go black,and if I click on the Chrome icon nothing will happen. I then have to turn the tablet off then back on to go back to normal. All other apps are OK...its just Chrome.

This is recent...I think it started just after a system update a couple of weeks ago. Any ideas?

I've had this problem as well but only in the last week or so. I just wait for Chrome to start again. Don't know what else to do.

So in the same time period as me. Maybe there is a Chrome forum...might find some answers there.
