Freeview break-up

Just thought of another problem. We've had a freeveiw box for 18mnths and are relatively pleased with it but on all the ITV and Channel 4 networks we have a lot of digital breakup of the picture,no problem on anything else, our friends also suffer the same so its not our aerial. Does any one else suffer the same and is there a cure.I live in the Tunbridge Wells Postcode area.

Gold plated contacts on the arial and scart lead. Also, a signal booster. Lastly, a high gain arial.

I live in Tunbridge Wells as well, but have not experienced this problem at all.

Quite possibly is a transmitter problem. My parents live in Crowborough which uses the Heathfield transmitter I believe (I imagine Uckfield uses the same), whilst T. Wells uses Pembury.

Don't waste your money on "Gold Plated" scart leads.

Call in a decent aerial engineer as you have a poor signal.
