I'm thinking to buy a cheap iphone just to play games on as the phone I'm using is too full of games to update my phone. I've a few questions so sorry about that.

If I buy another and put in my icloud ID is it ok to use same ID on two devices?

I know when I use the ID I will get my contacts back but will I my messages,photos and notes etc back?

I'm not using it for calls etc so I don't want a sim, if I don't put one in will I still be able to download games, use whatsapp and viber etc over mywifi?

Will wifi even work without a sim?

Can I download whatsapp and have same account on both phones and will it bring back my whatsapp messages? and same with viber

if it is an iPhone that is full of games why don't you delete them. Update your phone and then reinstall the games. If you have purchased any you only pay one in the App Store. I did this with my iPod as there was not enough memory left to update.

Sounds like you need an iPod Touch, not an iPhone.

Yes, you will need your same Apple ID and everything should sync.
