I recently asked if there were still problems downloading and running SP2. (Thanks for all the replies).

What I should also have asked is "what are the benefits of downloading SP2? Is it worth the (possible) aggro?"

If you install SP2 and then go to Windows Updates and get all of them afterwards there shouldn't be any aggro.
The benefits are that your PC wll be more secure and less likely to crash and be hacked.

I know a lot of people seem to have had trouble with this but I downloaded it and haven't had any problems at all, so you might be ok

SP2 is mostly about security on your PC. You should install it
