One of my FB friends has a habit - not too often, thankfully - of sharing his own posts on my timeline. It's never anything distasteful; all that bothers me is that he does it without asking permission.
He's had personal difficulties in the past so I don't want to confront him in any way.
My question is, is there a FB setting available that will allow me to block such posts?

Thanks hc. In the end I just deleted. For some reason 'hide all from...' wasn't available (although it is for general posts) and I selected 'turn off notifications' followed by 'delete'. Overkill, possibly!
Just tell them nicely that you like his post, but send it on Private Message as you dont want strangers to see them.
