Dvd compilations

What will I need - software/hardware - to allow me make compliations from more than one dvd onto just one dvd?

I have dvdshrink etc installed. I know if an original is broken into chapters/episodes that I can click and drag and copy, but do you know if it'll allow me to use the frame start/end option on each one? Also, will there be any issue movong between chapters on the finished product?

Don't know, haven't used it for that. What do you mean by start/end options and why?

On reauthor, there's an option (icon = 2 arrows) which allows you choose the start frame and end frame of the clip you're copying.
