Thunderbird imap netscape

I recently downloaded Thurderbird on recommendation from this column - its great for my domain address and a Which.net address I use but although it says it supports imap which is used by my Netscape.net address I have failed to get it to work . I have set it up several times but it still comes up with ' failed to connect to imap server' Can anyone confirm what I should actually put in as server. I have tried netscap.mail and imap.mail.netcenter.com (as in Netscape7) I had a similar problem a while back when using Ospam (which I highly reommend) but as I virtually never receive SPAM via this address I gave up trying.
