When I press the option to save the changes, I get a message saying it cant save due a "File permission error" . I've used Word for years and have never had this before. Can anyone help please? TIA.

I get this message every now and then - it's usually my error, not word (basically I press everything until it works!) Firstly, try saving it under a different name/file.
