Get Rid Of Speedy Computer

how do I get rid of this annoying thing called Speedy computer which comes up every time I switch on my laptop. It says its scanning for viruses etc but I don't want it and strongly suspect its spam/malware. I tried uninstalling it and deleting it from recycle bin but it still comes back

Try running a scan with the free version of Malwarebyte's Anti-Malware:
https://www.malwarebytes.org/antimalware/
(When installing it, take care to deselect the pre-ticked option to take a free trial of the 'Premium' version. Don't be surprised if a scan takes ages to run; that's normal. If malware is detected, use the 'Quarantine' option).

If that doesn't work, try using System Restore to take your computer's registry back to a date before the problem first occurred.

If that doesn't work, boot into Safe Mode. Disable System Restore. (Instructions here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/264887/en-gb ). Uninstall Speedy Computer again. Run Malwarebytes Anti-Malware again.
