Ipad Updates

I'm trying to install the updates that have come up as necessary on my ipad air and they are taking forever,have I done anything wrong,or is there anything I can do to speed them up.

What speed is your Wifi? It must be very slow.

When you're updating keep the iPad connected to a power source so that it doesn't run out of power. If your device does run out of power, connect it to a power source and turn on the device to let the update or restore complete.

If the update never completes and the progress bar hasn't moved for an extended time, try restarting your device.

The update wasn't very big. Mine took 3 or 4 minutes.
