Orange (Ee) Phone Package
7 Answers
I'v been on an Orange (now EE) pay as you go mobile phone deal whereby if you keep your phone topped up by 10 pound a month, you will get 200 free evening and weekend texts, and 200 free evening and weekend minutes air time.
However today I checked my allowance left and it gave me only 100 texts and 100 minutes per month allowance. Ive had no notification that the deal has been dropped like this and ive been topping up in good faith that I was still recieving the original 200 minutes and texts.
Can any one tell me
a) when did Orange (or EE) change this deal and
b) can they (legally) do this without notifying you ?
Thanks.

Will have to pop into the EE shop in the next day or two. Havnt checked my balance for a few months and just presumed that nothing had changed. Bit miffed today though when I rang balance.
Spoke to a friend of mine tonight and he said that his (orange) package had also been cut.

I am on a canary PAYG package. Top up £10 per month & get free calls to any network after a certain time after 7 pm i think & at weekends. Texts are 5p each I think. I don't top up each month though. I wait for my kids to call me. But what you do top up you get so much towards a new phone on any contract. The same as how loyalty cards work.
