I have an old Ever Ready Motormate heavy duty torch and intend to change the battery 4R25 6V. No problem with the battery but it would make sense to also fit a new bulb, and I cannot see to access the existing one. A search of ‘Ever Ready Motormate torch’ will show the kind of thing – a square face to the lamp that seems to be firmly fixed and no obvious means of opening it, short of brute force and possibly breaking it! Can anyone advise please?
