I want to make some of my folders that are in my documents secure so only I can gain access but when I try the only thing that I can do is to make a password on my user account I think it is possible but I've spent some time on it and just seem to round in circles

        Thanks

File encrytion will make the folders impossible to read unless you have the access code. XP has its own program to do this but you might want to look at this link for freeware alternatives which I think are better.

I use AxCrypt which is in the list. You can read details about it at this link.

User opinions are all good.
BE WARNED! If you forget the access code for your encrypted files you will be locked out in the same way as anyone else so use with care.
Hope this helps.
