hi my mother in law wants to put a tv in her bedroom. As far as i can ascertain, she doesn't have an aerial point in her bedroom what are the options.? i presume you can't get tellys that you fiddle round witha bit of wire on top any mpre? :)*-+

Run cable from a splitter plugged in where she had a socket, to run to the bedroom.
Or split in the loft and run a cable into the bedroom.
At my place I've always meant to do the 3rd option but since the cable from the adjacent small room into my bedroom sorts the problem I've left it like that.

If you put a simple splitter in you might end up with a weak signal at both TVs. Something like this would be better:
