Deleting Mailboxs On Ipad Min

When I try to delete mailboxes my screen just reverts to the mainscreen. Help please! I know how to do it, it just wont work! Tia

You cannot delete the mail box icon on an iPad. You can delete the mail account by going into Setings - Mail,Contacts,Calender then on right hand side delete which account you wish to delete

So I can create a new mailbox to put emails in, but I cant delete it ? I cant find where to delete mailboxes under Mail, Contacts, Calendar...w

Your mailbox is for each of your email account/accounts. If you wish to make a new folder within your mailbox you need to access that email account via safari make the new mail folder then from the mailbox app move your emails to the new folder

Thanks all, I've sorted it.. I had to go into my BT account through Safari and they deleted fine. They wont delete direct from the ipad email.
