Locked Out From Facebook And Asking Me For Id?
1 Answers
Hi,facebook has suspended my account and my comments,me etc have disappeared off all my friends accounts.
When I try and login I get this message //Please Change Your Name
It looks like the name on your Facebook account may not be your authentic name. We ask everyone to use the name they go by in real life so friends know who they're connecting with.
What names are allowed on Facebook?
If this is the name you use in your everyday life, we would like to work with you to verify the name that best represents your identity. We accept a number of documents to allow you to verify your everyday name\\
And then,
//We ask everyone on Facebook to use the name they go by in everyday life so friends know who they're connecting with.
Please enter the name you'd like to confirm and use publicly on Facebook. Keep in mind that the name on your profile may be automatically updated to the name you enter below.\\
I've emailed them once telling them that because of the work I do I can't have my real name there but no answer.
My questions are,
I'm known by my nickname to my friends so why can't I use that?
Has anyone been suspended on fb for the same reason?
Which Id did you upload to get back on?
How long did it take?
What happens when they let you back on,does my account suddenly appears back on everyones friends lists and are all my comments, friends, photos intact?
Will I suddenly be bombarded with the missed months of messages, friend requests etc?
Is there a way around this?
In case I don't reply back straight away, thanks for any answers.

I use a local selling page on facebook, to sell some personal items, so I set up a different account, in a name different to my own. I didn't have any friends as it was purely a selling account, that I very rarely used.
My mistake was to call myself, "JC's selling page". I had the account for a couple of years or so before I received a message from Facebook very similar to your's, informing me that as I was a business, they'd converted my account to a selling/business page.
I tried contacting them, explaining that it was not a business, but got no joy.
This account is now useless and I lost all my messages and photos in the transition.
I've now made another account, calling myself another fictitious name, but something that looks real, so as not to draw attention to it.
I sent them a copy of my driving licence (with confidential info blanked out) to prove my ID.
I wish you good luck in getting your account back, as your case is different to mine ..... but don't get your hopes up, just in case .....
