Expensive wee....
when they hear the police battering ram on their front door?

They pee it out rather than chuck it hurriedly down the loo when someone's coming don't they :-)

Ah, I see. I was thinking paranoia might have kicked in after their first sniff and they threw the rest of their stuff down the tubes.
I suppose if you were in a hurry you might mistake it for Ajax powder or something like that?
Question Author
It's to be hoped they never make a reverse error there. Ajax powder might scald the nose off you.
I'm told people take it because it gives them Vim.
I don't think coke is as expensive as it used to be
I think you're wrong, Ric, it's about £70 a gram. You can get it for about £40 but it won't be coke you're shoving up your nose.

(and no, I don't touch the stuff, but I did watch someone snort a gram of glucose)

Sweet ☺
Sandy...these drug addicts obviously have more money than sense !
Mikey....recreational!!! Just like you recreationally drink!

Unless you're happy to be considered an alkie?
Ummm....I seem to recall that we have discussed this issue before. In the link that sandy has used, it appears to be cocaine that being cited. Cocaine is a highly addictive Class A drug...here are the facts. I will continue to call cocaine users addicts, as long they continue to "use" it.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cocaine

From one of the early paragraphs in the Wiki link ::::

"Cocaine is addictive due to its effect on the brains reward pathways. After a short period of use there is a high risk that dependence will occur.[8] It use also increases the risk of stroke, myocardial infarction, lung problems in those who smoke it, blood infections, and sudden cardiac arrest"

///Sandy...these drug addicts obviously have more money than sense ! ///

Yet again you have failed to read and/or understand the article.

It was a Waste Water Survey, the Drugs had been taken, passed through the body and then gone down the Loo
I know of some people who take the occasional snort of cocaine and they are not addicts -they can go for months then just have some for a 'special occasion'. I suppose if you started to take it regularly you may become addicted but the same can be said for booze and cigs.
Retrochic...what fascinating friends you have !

As far as I am aware, I don't know any drug users but I shall be asking my friends very carefully, over the next few days, just to see if they do use Class A drugs !
Down in the hood mikey...lol! You would be surprised how many people take recreational drugs,I've smoked quite a few joints in my time but never ever been tempted to try anything stronger. My sister had a magic mushroom dish in a restaurant in Hong Kong years ago and ended up in the Ladies Rest Room screaming there was a snake trying to get up her dress -yes very Freudian I know. One of our nephews 'partakes' of the white stuff very occasionally and I know when he's done it as for days later he is always sniffing as if he has hayfever.
don't be silly, mikey, you're an addict if you're addicted to something (it doesn't have to be cocaine, or indeed anything illegal; you can be addicted to sleeping pills). Plenty of people take cocaine because they like it, as others take alcohol, without becoming addicted at all.
Mikey...people who take drugs now and then are not addicts. People who 'need' to take drugs, are.

You really are being naive if you think that someone who has a toot on a Saturday night is an addict.
