My OS is W7 & my browser is Seamonkey. At the bottom of my screen (taskbar ?) I have Links >> Address which I do not use & wish to delete. I used to be able to click on bottom left & type into Search ''MSCONFIG'' in order to get to startup. For some reason this no longer works & when I type in MSCONFIG a page opens with 3 alternatives, Korean, Manifest & Default.
Can someone explain what on earth is going on & how I can get back to MSCONFIG . TIA. Ron.

I'm lost regarding your Msconfig problem but getting rid of 'Links' is dead easy:

Right-click on a blank space on your taskbar. Go to 'toolbars' and click to remove the tick alongside 'Links'
PS: Try running msconfig directly, rather than from the Search box. (If you can do that you'll know that it's the search function that's become corrupt, rather than msconfig itself):

Go to your boot drive (which is almost certainly C). Open the Windows folder. Open the System32 folder. Scroll down to msconfig and double-click on it.
