How do you like it, apart from the down load time.

good for me when you've found all the things that were so easy to find in win7 ,starts and shuts down quickly no complaints so far. my download and actual start up was 3hrs .10mins
I like it - unfussy, uncluttered, intuitive, straightforward, fast.

Install time for me was 14 minutes from start to finish, with the exception of tweaking Contana. It depends on your broadband speed.
I`m not impressed that you cant choose your downloads - it keeps giving me Skype and its a POS and I have no interest in social networking other than answerbank
? It didn't download skype for me
It keeps coming as part of Office 2013 - if you delete it they just download it again
hc4361, install time 14 mins? was that from the actual start of the download from Microsoft or was win 10 already download on your comp overnight etc i simply cant believe that from start to finish it was that time
Well that's how long it took from clicking the icon in the task bar. My download is 150Mbps
I have downloaded W10 this morning ,i never checked how long it took but it didn't seem to be too long.My d/load speed is 10.5mb on MiFi.
Little tweak here - right click on the start button and it gives quick access to all sorts of stuff. I turned off some of the communication stuff and deleted tiles and things I`ll never use - but all in all, apart from the update issue I mentioned earlier, I like it.
seems a bit quick though hc4361 for 5/6 gb download to configuring the comp to update to win 10 complete, your very lucky
I wont be the quickest. Probably took me about 30 hours if you include failures and googling for solutions. My broadband is as slow as dial up in the evening. I think it took three downloads to get an error free download, using media creation tool in the end, and down loading to memory stick.
I do like it though!
It's ok but User Account Control continues to be a pain.

I am the only user that has ever been set up on my machine (and thus an administrator though not the hidden one) and it is quite risible to have pop-ups that say that I can't do something and should see the administrator - I am that flipping administrator So to do some simple things that I do each day, I need to keep UAC turned off altogether which means that I can't use Microsoft's latest internet browser Edge (not bothered about store apps). Turning UAC on temporarily in the user account turns it on but turning it back off there does not turn it off for the system as a whole.
I dont think you are missing much Edge didnt impress me one little bit so I stuck to my faithful Firefox
