There are two products from Qvis on iTunes, Sentient Pro and Sentient. Sentient Pro (which has awful reviews) is for the Sentient Pro 720P or 1080P CCT, the other app Sentient is for the 960H CCTV. Have you downloaded the correct one?
I have a couple of Maginon cameras which I can view over the home wifi.

If I wanted to view them from anywhere, I'd need to register them to get access via the internet - perhap you've to do the same.
if you post the model number, we could look for an online manual.

Have you linked the camera to your wifi?

Yes done all above as I said it's something to do with active x with I phones don't have so why say its compatable with I phones ? I guess if u techy there's a way round it but I'm not techy
You are far from alone with the supposed iPhone app requiring Active X. This has been a problem for a couple of years it seems. I wonder why they don't fix it. Some people have used MVS500 (on iTunes) successfully as an alternative. It is £3.99
