Morning!

I have an Apple PowerBook and would like to activate it's internal airport express card so I can use it anywhere. Is it best to get the airport express base unit or are there any other wireless connections which would do the job just as well? If so, how much are they and where can I get them? I'm using ethernet cable at the moment which seems to defeat the object of having a nifty little laptop. Thanks.

You can use any wireless router, as with most Apple products the airport express is pretty standard. Be carefull as you might need to get one with an internal modem depending on your current modem set up.

You just need a wireless router (ADSL or cable, depending on your connection), that has the WiFi standard (i.e. any of them). go for the "g" standard if you can over "b". may not apply too much now, but it is faster, so will matter at some point.
