How do I access the @? It's on the 'L' key, to the right of it, with a 3 below the @. I've tried every combination I can think of with, obviously, no luck.

Any advice would be gratefully received.

Thank you in advance.

My daughter has a new Mac of some sort and tells me hold the "Shift key" and push L.
But I thought you would have tried that ;-)
Possibly ensure the "num lock" key is not lit as this will override other functions.

Tried all that oz. And more besides.
How are you mate?
All good thanks Boaty, been a busy week.
I'll call daughter dear when she gets home, traveling from our place at the mo, and ask if she has any ideas.
I couldn't find any info from Google, most unusual.

Pushing the shift key and L just gives me a capital L.
Is this a UK machine as that doesn't sound right, the @ should be above the 2?
Looks like you have a German keyboard layout, is the "Z" middle of the top row? If you have the language set to English then it may not work as per the key labels, try shift + 2

Shift + 2 did the job. Thank you. I can replant the hair I've torn out now.
Thanks again.
