My Google home page on my iPad has changed. It has shrunk and not displaying all the details. I have compared it to OH's laptop.
I did have a Google pop up earlier today. I clicked on it out of curiosity (stupid I know) I changed my mind part way through and stopped it. But can't remember what it was.
Anyone any ideas what I can do?
I have switched it on and off.

Also the top banding on the screen, the task bar that shows all favourites and the bit where you type web site details has gone black.
If its gone black the it sounds like you've turned on Private browsing.

What browser - is it Safari or something else?
If its an app, delete it and download again from the App Store.
To turn off Private, click on the double squares (under the battery icon) then click on Private.

Yes I'm on Safari

I've clicked on it. The only change it has made is to centralise the google page. Before it was over on the left, only using half the screen.

The blackness has gone now but all still small.

I have looked at the Google apps. Why does it not tell you how much they cost. Why do we have to complete payment details first without knowing how much to pay.
Because they're free...
Google apps on the iPad are usually free.

That is because Google do not manufacture anything saleable, but instead mine your personal details and your browsing habits, and sell them to advertisers.

which means YOU are Google's product and their free software is just a means of extracting information and purchasing from YOU.

Thanks for that info. If I do get a new one how do I delete old one?
Press the icon till they all jiggle and touching the little x on the app will ask to delete.

Being asked for a security code. Tried all I know, no good. Losing the will now!!
Who's asking? iPad or App Store?

Caran,

The name of your first pet is 'Rover'.

Unless it was an Hamster.
It might be the 3 security characters on the back of your Credit Card.Have you changed any personal details for Apple recently?
