i have run a program (System Mechanic) on my Laptop and it comes up with acceleWrite has been disabled It wont let me enable it Is there any where in my settings I can enable it I am running Windows 10

To give a reason, I will say that anything which messes about with an Operating System's Registry is a danger and can cause untold problems. Could even make your Laptop completely unusable.
It's just a guess that the very presence of System Mechanic might be causing your problem.

In addition to what Hans says, many of the tasks that it attempts to perform, either duplicate facilities that are already available or interfere with the way that the operating system works. In other words, they are either largely redundant, or downright dangerous. Those that mess with how the operating system works have the potential to:
Break programs that rely on documented behaviour
Break themselves or Windows if they make assumptions that might be changed in a Windows update.
