Why is it when I type the word gumtree.com in my search box on my ipad, as it loads, the word I typed changes to ebay.inc as the gumtree page comes up?

eBay has owned Gumtree for the past 10years, so you're probably just seeing something that shows that the site you're viewing is actually hosted on eBay's servers.
