Hi ABers out there, I wonder if someone can help, please. We've just been given a little DAB radio, the Logik Model number: L2DAB12 and we don't have the instruction manual. Have had a look on line and can't seem to find a link that actually will take me to a downloadable manual for this little radio.

I looked at the Logik website, but that directed me to Aiwa website and that suggested going to the Sony website (who have apparently taken Aiwa over).

Any ideas or links would be much appreciated.

Also - the thought did occur to me that we are trying to set a few radio stations whilst it's not connected to the mains, i.e. with just the (new) batteries in the device. Do you think it would actually work if it was plugged into the mains?

Hope someone can help,

Cheers, Chox.

Not familiar with the radio: but aren't they all much of a muchness ? Press button for scan. Turn knob for volume. Is this about setting preset buttons ? Is there a display & menu ? Or like a car radio, does it need a long press to set ?

Hi OG, many thanks v... we've tried all that pressing, long presses and short presses, but nothing seems to work. So we thought a manual might be able to help than mere guesswork. Cheers, Chox.

Is the dropbox link here still valid ? (Not tried downloading to my mobile.)
Have you inserted the batteries the right way round ..
Are the batteries definitely known to work ..
You may have poor reception if you are indoors trying to tune it. Is the aerial fully extended (They all work much better with an outdoor aerial).
Stand close to a window and try scanning again.
Then go outside and try tuning it up the end of the garden.
Failing that there may be a reason why you were 'given' it ... Did the previous owner have trouble with it?

Beware of using a DAB radio on batteries only. DAB's are notorious for heavy battery use.

Looks like Currys are still selling this radio :::

Mr. Chox is going to try tuning the stations in with the mains lead in. And if no joy, perhaps we'll take it into currys at the weekend. And if no joy from either of those two, we will put the original radio (non DAB) back in its place (which doesn't need a mains lead) and give up on the Logik! someone gave the Logik to my mother in law (an 85 year old lady who is not techie-savvy) and she can't work out how to use. It's too complicated for her. But thanks for all your advice folks, mukch appreciated.
