If you're trying to say that you want to use a New Zealand Vodafone sim card in your UK T-mobile phone, you will need to have your phone unlocked for any network.  However, because your phone is T-mobile UK you won't be able to access WAP or send multi-media messages with a sim card from a different network.

you need to get the phone unlocked - mobile phone companies are tricksy arent they, locking the phones to one network!!!!?

you can get it unlocked online just put unlocking(your phone make) into google and see what comes up, or try ebay for unlocking services
