My phone keeps losing it's signal and saying "no service". It's a Nokia smart phone. I've had it for nearly a year and it's never done this before. I'm at home so not in a bad reception area. No-one can phone me, I can't phone out or send texts. What can I do to fix this? Thank you.

You've tried the switching off and on again?
If there's an Airplane mode on it, switch it on then off

Yes, I've even taken battery and sim out, and back again :-(
try taking out ya sim card and wiping it.its worth a try
Has it just happened now? It might be the network. Have you got another phone to test with?

I have put on flight mode then switched it off again, and it's still gone back to "no service". Can I try anything else?
If it is less than a year old it must still be under guarantee.

You need to get other people to check reception in your area, and if they get a good signal then complain to the phone supplier.

I'm on Virgin, the same as all my sons. And all theirs are working ok.
Try cleaning the sim with a pencil rubber
I don't know where you are but do know Chelmsford in Essex has had no Virgin reception all day
