Best mouse

Hi, can anyone reccomend a good wireless, optical mouse ? I have had a couple of cheap ones in the past and had problems. I don't mind spending a bit.

Also, are the rechargeable ones any good ?

Yes definitely. I was in your situation a month or two ago, and after much searching around I found something I hoped to be the perfect mouse, and I think it probably is.

Dixons have it for �60, so you could really save yourself a bit by looking around (above was where I got it from, but I live locally so picked it up myself).

I use the computer quite a lot, for about 3-4 hours constant each day. Sometimes more, sometimes less. The battery lasted a good 2-3weeks before it needed re-charging (built-in, so just put it in its cradle for a few hours).

Cord is nice and long, and its just as responsive as a corded one. Tracks better than a normal optical too (it's a laser mouse). Has a battery monitor as well which works great, and an on/off switch at the bottom of the mouse if you're taking it anywhere. Software for customisation of the buttons works great.

Only downside is that its sculptured for a right-handed person, so if you're a leftie, don't buy it.

I also have a different Logitech..."Cordless CLICK!" it is called just uses two normal AA Batteries which last some while....you can get a pack of 24 for just one pound at the local market which do the job fine......it's USB2 connection and  works from a small plugin unit which can go directly into the PC or there is a cable connector either.

 I love it...the only downer I can think of is that the batteries give no warning that they are down...the mouse just stops working. Just keep two spares handy and it only takes two secs. to change them.......
