I dropped my Nokia phone and now it is no-more. I can hear the keys registering when I press them but the screen doesn't light up. I bought a new phone from Tesco and they said that I could just transfer the sim card. I thought that this meant that all my details ie phone numbers and messages would be transferred over. My phone number has stayed the same but don't seem to have any other details. Should the information be transferred automatically?

Sounds like you were keeping details in the handset. Going to be difficult to copy that to the SIM card without a working display. Maybe a mobile seller workshop/techie can help ? Try the shops/stalls.

Could be a Nokia 2720 Fold, 5130, 5310, 5630, 6600 Fold, 7210 Supernova, 7310 Supernova, 2720 fold, or 6600fold.
I still reckon a shop with expert techies is your best bet. Or a clued up grandchild ;-)
