I use Facebook mostly to follow friends and family but occasionally like to add a comment to something they have posted. Until this week, I've been able to do that by writing my comment and then pressing the 'Go' button, which as I write this has an arrow on it. I've now found this doesn't work for Facebook and I'm unable to add comments.

Can anyone tell me why this is please and if there is a way of putting it right. Thanks.

What platform are using for Facebook? (Browser, app etc)
The Facebook button usually says 'POST' not 'GO'

Sorry, I haven't a clue. My daughter set it up for me ages ago. I've never seen anything that says 'post'. I used to use the go or arrow button on the right of my keyboard but it's not working for that now
FB allows you to include returns (new paragraphs) in your posts, so pressing that key will just add a new line. If you look at the area where your text is actually appearing on the FB page (NOT on the keyboard), you should see a blue button with the word "Post" in white. You need to tap or click that button.
When I'm on FB I submit posts by pressing enter. Always works.
Your'e right Prudie that pressing Enter on a post posts it, but the same doesn't necessarily apply when pressing Enter on a comment on someone else's post.

Thanks for your comments. I can't see any blue button with post written on it, all there is are the words like, share and comment. The like and share work, nothing seems to happen if I prod the comment. Enter doesn't work for what I need.
