Iphone 4

I am giving my old iPhone 4 to a friend. I have erased all my data on it.
He at present has one of those daft little Nokia 100's, on a contract, with O2.
What does he have do to transfer all the data on his Nokia, like contacts, etc, to the iPhone ? They don't use the same SIM, so he can't just pop his current SIM into the iPhone 4.
I have suggested that as a O2 customer, he should call into our local O2 shop, and the O2 Guru to hep. When I changed over from the 4 to the 6, the Guru chap couldn't have been more helpful, but my friend may want to have a go himself !

Yes Giggsie...that will be my recommendation my old friend when I see him on Sunday morning.
Anyone know how these SIM card readers work ? Can you get a print out of all your contacts ?
I am wondering how that can do this, as I would have thought the info held on the SIMs would differ from phone to phone, instead of being held in plain text.

i haven't got a clue how they work mikey, but the first time i saw these they didn't plug into the pc. from what i remember you put a sim card in, pushed a button and it read/stored the data, then replaced card with next card and pushed button to release data onto new card. way too technical for me. i think they had a button cell battery in it
