Hp Deskjet 950C Printer No Longer Working

Hi All,
Hoping for some help. My printer (HP Deskjet 950C) is no longer working- think it might be a Windows 10 issue as can't remember using it since I installed. Have tried to uninstall and re-install with new drivers, but the printer can't be discovered.
An idiot's guide to sort would be really appreciated.

That is a seriously old printer!

The original spec sheet shows that it was designed to be used with Windows 3.1, 95, 98, 2000 and Me:

So it must be around 15 years old. (It's pre-Windows XP!)

The driver availability shows it as being supported for Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8 and 8.1 (which is amazing, as most manufacturers wouldn't have supported such a printer after XP or, at the very latest, Vista) but NOT for Windows 10:

So I reckon that it's time to bite the bullet and buy a new printer!!!

I agree with Buenchico...."it's time to bite the bullet and buy a new printer".

However, I would comment to the effect that Windows 10 has done nothing to assist folk who have old equipment which is still in working order. A category into which I fall.
