ust had my kindle updated they ask me me to connect to a wireless network,
being thick where would I plug into. Thanks for any help

It's wireless; so you don't plug it in anywhere.
I know nothing of Kindles but assume it is looking for a WiFi. Do you have a wireless router/modem in the area ? You need to set whatever so it can connect.

you don’t plug it in, you connect wirelessly, the same as when you download a book.

The clue is in the word "wireless" - you don't plug in, you connect. You must have a connection to get books on to it - use that one.
