How Do I Change A Temporary Password Issued By Vodafone To One Of My Chosing?

When I bought my new mobile Vodafone gave me a temporary
password & told me I could change it once I had activated the phone.

I have been trying to log in to My Vodafone and the temporary
number is not accepted. I was given a 'new' temporary number but
I still can't log-in and change it.
Their website has me going round in circles, can anyone help me with
advice or tell me how I can speak to a human being?

I am a techie illiterate as you probably have gathered!

You could always try going into a Vodaphone shop; you get get the address of the nearest one from their web page.
