Downloading An Audio Book

How do I download an Amazon audiobook to my ipad without having to accept a free trial from ' Audible. ?

I don't want the bother of remembering to cancel the trial at the end of the month.

The audiobook I want is Bleak House.

Have you got the Kindle app on your iPad? If so, you should have the option to have the ebook sent to your iPad when you but the book from Amazon.

I don't really understand your concerns about future purchases, derek.

If you take the free trial you can cancel it a day or two later and you will still have the one month free trial. I do this frequently with Amazon Prime and Netflix. Every time I get offered a free trial, I take it

Are you aware you candownload ebooks and audio books from your local library? That is free.

Once you've registered for the online library service you can download them from home.

I'm with three different counties libraries for plenty of choice :)
